Engraving of Millrace Hall in autumn: the stone mill and its waterwheel beside the creek, with trees and the orchard around it.

The year at the mill

We host from mid-April to mid-December. Each season changes where you marry, where you eat and what the day costs. Choose one to see it in the picture above.

  1. The orchard flowers from late April into May. The creek is loud after the thaw, so ceremonies sit back on the lawn. Evenings are cool enough for the Mill House hearth.

  2. Light lasts until about 8:30. Most couples marry on the Creek Lawn and eat in the Barn with both doors open to the orchard. The wheel turns all day.
